Service Description: The electronic Water Rights Infomation Managment System (eWRIMS) is the California Water Resources Control Board's authoritative data system for managing water right records and permits in the state. The Natural Resources map service includes the resource-related map layers displayed in the eWRIMS GIS application. The service layers include: a) California Natural Diversity Database (CNDDB) Areas (source: CA Dept of Fish and Wildlife (internal only)); b) Wild, Scenic and Recreational Rivers (source: USGS); c) National Wetland Inventory area (source: US Fish and Wildlife Service); d) CA STATSGO Soil Zones (source: US National Resources Conservation Service).
